Could someone tell me what the "interlock switch" is for and what it does? I don't have an owners manual. Thanks

It's commonly known as the "clutch safety switch" It basically prevents the truck from being started without the clutch pedal fully depressed.

Thanks, when I press the button on the dash, does this enable me to start engine without the clutch depressed?
