I used the search function but didnt turn up anything i could find.
Details-
Jumped timed, replaced timing assembly and reset timing. also replaced fuel pump and MAF while i was at it.

Cylinders 3 and 4 fire perfectly.
The compression is around 160 not sure if that what its supposed to run at.
The plugs are gettign fire to them as far as i can tell by putting a wire to a metal post.
When my dad pulled the plugs he said they had a (very) faint varnish smell to them, and that they were damp.
Hes thinking it may be the injectors. Does anyone know how to test them?
If anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them. We have exhausted our abilities.

Thank you for your time.

For grins have you swapped the 1 & 2 wires to see if it will run better.

Upon taking the injectors out, the #2 cylinder one needs new o rings the one between the block and the injector fell apart on my hands, the #1 cylinder one had this white powdery crystal stuff inside it. I cleaned it out wiht some brake cleaner. Does anyone knwo what this white stuff is it had completely clogged the injector.

Detergents in the fuel for emissions would be my guess. I would replace them all if half of them are shot.

Decades ago, i had a 1985 ford crown vic came into the shop with a "high idle speed" complaint. I found this light tan colored residue, built-up along the throttle shaft and blades, that was making contact with the throttle body housing preventing the throttles from returning to the idle position. Carb cleaner and other solvents had no effect on it, however water did seem to slowly dissolve it. So i tossed it in a small bucket of water for a couple of hours, and when i came back , the deposits had nearly disappeared. The two injectors itself passed a flow test, and had no visible residues on/in them. I concluded he was the victim of a vandal who dumped some sugar in his gas tank. Is there any possibility you might have sugar in your tank? I'm guessing that the injectors in the crown vic did not get plugged because they are two very large injectors feeding a 5.0 litre V8. Your injectors may be small enough to trap sugar in its passages. See if you can scrape off a small chunk of that residue and see if it dissolves in water
