94 abs pump work/fit on a 1990 Q?

my abs pump on 90 q is leaking amd I have a 94 pump, can it be doe I think it can but its the bending of lines that I am concerned about, if it kinks then brakes!

If I remember correctly, they're a completely different design. The 94+ had two rear lines and were controlled differently.

You're better off having yours rebuilt by A1 Cardone. That's what I did for Q1. The best deal I found was at PepBoys... this was in 2000 but the price was less than $300. Had to send a core in though. It has been fine for 5+ years.

You might buy Lee's slightly leaky one from his 90Q that he's parting out (click here for thread) and use it for a core vs. having your car down for a few weeks.

A cheaper option would be to purchase a used one from a 1992 or 1993 Q. I believe they updated the seals to resolve the leaking issue by then. There are some as cheap as $60 at www.car-part.com.

thanks, but I have already put it in. haven't bled the system yet to see if its workin properly, because I have been changing the chain guides but a friend of mines told me that he has done it before, I respond in a day or 2

The part numbers are different from '90 to '94, be careful...

it works just the same, just placing the lines correctly without braking the lines!
