What are the options other than eibachs on tokico blues.

I've seen some guys running coil overs, are they from a 300zx?

California Custom springs on blues are great. I am running them now. I thought I saw the springs for sale recently in the infiniti parts for sale section of NICO.

Some have used the Z32 coilovers, but a large spacer has to be made because they are really short. The top hats are different and I think the lower strut bushings on the fronts would be too small for the fronts on the 94-96. You may be able to drill them out. The only bolt on coilovers will come from Japan but they are really pricey. Your best bet is to snag the set of cali customs in the classifieds if they are still available.

Whats the weather like up there? We are going up to caldwell in a couple of weeks. I wont be driving my 94 though.

I've PM'd the guy with those but haven't received a response.

I'm currently riding on Tokico blues with eibachs but the ride height is wonky the front is SLAMMED and the rear is not so slammed. The rake looks goofy.

It's cold, but dry.

In the 40's today for a high 23 low.

There's lots of fun stuff to do here in Boise (I'm in Meridian).

A company here in az ksport now sells coilovers for the q. I had some issues with them at first. I believe they have corrected them now. Lower mount had to be "thinned" also had to dremel upper strut mount holes in front. Basically usual stuff you'd have to do for z32 coils to fit. Only thing might have an issue with is stiffness... they are 20k and 16k. Honestly they don't ride too bad IMO.

I'm fairly certain Rob put some Z32 stuff on the front of the Beast before I bought it. Can't find anything to confirm it, but I think so.

It always seem to be REAL low in the front and had the adjustable uppers w/ the grease zerks.

Actually the espilir springs seem to be a little better than the eibachs. I have a set NIB waiting to go on my Q one of these days... :)

Rex, Rob didn't use Z32 stuff except perhaps the upper links, shocks and springs are NOT a bolt-on affair, and back in those days we were in communication enough that I would remember that.

I have z32 coilovers on both of my cars.

96 daily - cusco zero-1 front strut hole drilled to 22mm, s14 rear top hats.

94 track car - bc racing z32, 4x s14 rear top hats and 90-93 3rd members(no engine in the car)

For the 96, i just used a 7/8" step bit to get the 22mm. The s14 rear top hats are the same as all 4 top hats on the G50. 90-93 3rd members bolt right onto 94-96.

The Bushings are S-H-O-T in the stillen FUCA. I've got a set of adjustable ones that are a bit heftier to go on as soon as she is back on the road. Currently in the garage on stands with the intake torn off replacing injectors, plugs, VC gaskets and power steering leak.

I wish I could get the front and rear level, front up a little or rear down a little, I'd be okay with either.

How is the ride? I'm not looking for sports car handling, but I'm not opposed to coil overs if they can be adjusted for a softer ride.

My daily with 12/10s rode amazing for a car on coilovers, super plush but no were near as soft as the stock stuff. I would suggest a nice set of 12/10s for a daily Q, I doubt you would have any complaints. I let my parents borrow the car for a few days and they even said it rides nice(my mother HATES lowered cars lol)
