Anyone have a pic of a blacked out or different type grill on their car?Was thinking bout blacking mine out,leaving chrome strip in middle.

elwesso played with this idea a few times back in the mid 2000's.

Try searching for posts by him with the word grill. Though it's hard to say if the pics are still working for a post THAT old.

You could paint it, however if you do a lot of highway driving,expect it to become chipped up pretty quickly showing specs of chrome where the black paint chipped off.

You could do Plasti-dip.

Check youtube for some businesses selling the products and showing how to apply and remove.

People have done entire cars, so grill should be fairly easy.

My 95 grille was painted to match the car. Black with green & red flake. I have more chips/pits in the front bumper than in/on the grille..

so both the bumper and the grill have chips,pretty common with re-paints as they are never as durable as the factory applied paint.

I should have clarified. I don't have chips in the grille. The bumper has a bit of speckling. But that's how I bought it so...
