94-95 q45 engine on E bay-29miles

saw this on e bay,listed 6-28-04 , car only has twenty nine miles on it! other new parts available,found on an infiniti lot,never registered or driven! what a find,if true!

No way... Don't they usually go through at least 50k miles of testing after being built?! Besides, why would the engine be pulled as soon as it hits the lot?!

ad shows engine installed in the car,and picture of odometer shows 29 miles. the older infinitis went through a factory test drive of less than 10 miles,unless a problem surfaced that required retesting- the ones registered with much more were probobly jockeyed around the dealers and used for demo purposes.my local dealer stores their new cars off site,and the lot boys sure look like they are having fun moving them down the highway and to the gas station at full throttle!

It wouldnt take me long to roll back the odometer.. 30 mins tops and Id have a 25 mile Q.. HAHA I WIN! :)

yeah,but can you roll it back without making it noticable,ie defeat the built in feature that leaves its telltale "signature" that it has been tampered with?,if not YOU LOSE!

Unfortunately, there is none on the Q. :(

It's one of the easier rollback victims.

I thought I read somewhere that this feature was government mandated starting years ago on every car sold in the USA?
