94 300zx. should i buy it?

hey guys im from over in the 240sx section of nico LOL

well. i found this 300zx. white, pretty bad body damage to the pass fender and continues along the door. the fender is supposedly crushed into the wheel making it sorta undrivable. otherwise it has 108k miles, automatic... might need to replace some bent suspension stuff in the pass right side.

anyway, they were gonna have a guy tow it out of there for free just to get it out. i said HOLD UP! having a 240sx, ofcourse i always dream of having a 300zx... but maybe i could just take this gem off their hands, pull the fender off the wheel just enough to make it mobile, throw a new coilover on that corner, and sell it.

i was wondering how much you guys think i could sell this car for with ugly *** bnody damage on the right side like that...

it would proby end up costing me 200 dollars by the time i got it home.

well i just remembered that the rear end, 5 lug hubs, AND brakes all fit on my 240sx...

so i might be partin this thing out. anyone want anything?

ok first of all is it NA or TT that makes a huge difference. if its NA then you could prob. sell the car for maybe 1500 nobody wants an NA let alone an automatic NA thats a double fault. but if its a tt you might be able to sell it for anywhere between 2500-4000 depending on how extensive the dammage is, if the car is not rolling at all then that drops the price down a hell of alot. but what im wondering is what type of motor are you running in your fastback? because if i where you id just take the motor, and whatever rear break components you need and leave the car for part out or somebody else to pick up... the vg is a good motor even if its NA its still putting out as much if not more hp crank than an sr20!

yea i would love to run the vg in my 240..... BUT.

i would have to get a manual trans for it, new motor and trans mounts, custom driveshaft...

and the worst part, WIRING =o

ill pass for now haha

but i suppose i could sell the motor to someone else who wanted it. its only got 108k miles and runs fine.

but ive been thinking about just throwing a new pass quarter panel on the biatch and driving it...

that is true, but if you think about it, you could make alot of that money back from parting out the rest of the car! just a suggestion but your S13 would be a beast running a vg! imagine the possiblilities!

it would sorta be a shame to rip a beautiful car like that apart... i mean i had a hard time parting out a crapped up 240sx, i couldnt imagine a Z

and its the most amazing car...

banged out the fender so it doesnt hit the tire, im putting a new tie rod on tomorrow... and then im drivin this biatch until i sell it.

love this car tho. bose stereo, cruise control, climate control, power everything, tint, t-tops... might just have to keep it longer than i planned

im gonna drive it for a little while until i get either a rear for my truck or a title for my 240.

then im gonna try to make as much money as i can from it to put away or put towards a new streetbike for the summer

then i guess im gonna sell it for some CASH

edit... im near exton, PA. i also sort of live in NJ between atlantic city and ocean city. when i sell it i think ill end up getting anywhere from 3 to 4 grand?
