94 300zx front brake calipers on a 91 Q45???

Hello Nico members,

Wanted to know if anyone has installed this mod for the Q45? What parts are needed to install 94-96 300zx brake calipers on a 91 Q45? Is this modification a direct bolt on or do I need an adapter? Where would I be able to find this adapter? Will I have to replace my rims in order to have the 300zx brake calipers installed on a Q45? Any comments and information would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Why do you want to do this?

Among other things the diameter of the master cylinder piston and brake caliper piston(s) is what tells you if its worth the upgrade. I say compare the two VS the pad options and then weigh the benifits.

You will get better results with FGY33 front caliper and rotor. But you can't run 15" wheels.

Searched online for images and found a 97 VIP Q with the front calipers from a Nissan Z, looked pretty nice. Would this be a direct swap and is it safe to have these installed in a 91 Q?

I have these calipers on my Q. Nice thing is rotors are cheaper and there's a ton more options in pads. It's really not worth the effort because if you wanna use the stock wheels you have to put 10mm spacers on the front.
