I know there are posts like this but I thought I would get a better answer if I gave some specific info.

First off about 2 weeks ago I got into a small fender bender. Nothing serious, fender got scraped up. However my drivers side muffler has been pushed forward about 3-4 inches. I didn't really notice any issues after that, still hasn't been to the shop (waiting for the other drivers insurance to contact me) About a week after the accident I was getting into my car at work to go home and I noticed that the door wasn't "bonging" while it was open and that when I tried to turn it on the car did nothing at all. So I tested the battery and the alternator. The battery was toast (really old so needed to go anyways) and the alternator was putting out 14.4 volts. SO I got a new battery put it in and bam! It turned right on! I drove it to work, worked my 8 hours, got in it and drove it home no problem. I got in the car this morning and.....nothing. I made sure last night that everything was off. Security light would always be solid, only blink if a door was ajar. Is the security light supposed to always be solid? Also lately the parking brake light is almost always on, even while driving, and a few days after the accident a light on the dash came on but not for very long so I couldn't tell what one it was. My question is what could it be (very open ended question I know) Could it be the alternator? Once the car starts it will run until I turn it off and none of the lights fade or flicker. Could the accident have caused this? Or is it the security system being stupid? Anyways any help will be awesome!

UPDATE: I fully charged the battery and just sitting there it completely died in only about One and a half hours.

Battery drain issues are always the hardest thing to track down. Best advice if you have a multimeter and experience with it, is to see which fuses are drawing current when the car is off and the key is removed. Otherwise, it could literally be anything.

Security light is supposed to blink with the door open, then go solid when the door is locked, and go off after about a minute. As far as the parking brake light, what is the extent of the damage of the fender bender? Park brake light can be set off by other things than just the handle. ABS unit, ABS controller, I think even a wheel sensor can cause it. Not positive on that one though.

If brand new batteries are draining out overnight, you have a drain somewhere. Something either isn't turning off when you take the key out or there are exposed wires somewhere grounding out on the frame. I would inspect anything electrical where you got hit and also check out the ignition switch/cylinder (not sure if there's a how-to or not, maybe in the fsm). Also, what are the condition of your battery cables? are they all frayed and whatnot?

When you're driving does your "door" light on the dash come on? Mine was flashing on as I was driving as the door wasn't making a good connection. I think this led to at least one of my dead batteries as the interior lights would stay on with the door closed. Adjusting the latch is easy easy as loosening the 2 phillps head screws and moving the latch a little and retightening.
