(94' 240SX)I just replaced my spark plugs and thermostat and was going to start the car up so I could get all the air out of the coolant system but the car wouldn't idle for very long, it would die. I checked the ECU and it threw a code for the Knock Sensor. What the heck! Everything was running perfectly fine until this, should I replace the sensor? Anyone else had this problem before??

Welcome to Nico tiger. Knock sensor code is extreamly common on your car,but it will not cause it to die or not start like you are experiancing. is your intake boot back on properly, if you dont have the boot on the airflow meter has no idea how much air is going in so the ecm will have no idea how much fuel to give it to keep it running.

yeah I took everything off and put it back on properly. The car runs ok now. One thing that i'd like to know about it... why in the world does it bog down so low and stutter there and then get back up to normal idle speed *800* after you rev it up a little? I was sitting there with the car running and waiting for the thermostat to open and it looks like it isn't... i'm just learning about the KA. I was stationed in Okinawa and played with the SR. the ka is new to me. i'm trying to get used to it's little qwerks. guess ill just search through the technical threads. yea i'm in gallatin now.

search for coolant bleading. that is a major issue on the car. If you dont do it right you will have all kinds of over heat issues.
