94 240 5-speed Swap Aftermath Question

Swapped 5-speed into my 240 but did not swap rear end. Cruising RPMs are a good 10% higher now. Why?

The speed sensor is off calibration. Use the one from your A/T.

It's actually closer to 9.5% different. The final drive gear ratios are different by that amount between AT and MT... Thats it.

4th now should be like driving with the OD off before (3rd) as they are both 1:1 ratios. All other gears in the MT are shorter then the AT, thus another reason why they accelerate faster.
