hey gang, i've owned a 95" 240sx for about 2 years now but don't know much about the verts. i found a very clean 93" vert for sale and want to know if the price is reasonable. it has 121,000 miles, is red & rust free. automatic. good top, 4lug non se, runs drives and shifts good, decent interior. the guy said his bottom dollar is $3500. is that high, low, or about right. sorry there are no pics, i didn't have any way of taking any. thanks for the help.

i got mine for $2800 but it had around 140,000 miles on it. For 121,000 miles i would say to try to get him down to at least $3300. If you can't i would pay the $3500. If it is very clean and in very good condition then that is a good buy. You can always do an Automatic to manual swap later on. But make sure everything works before you buy the $3500 vert. If its in bad condition on the inside try to go for $3300. Any chance on the post of the car? Like the page where he is selling it. I already have a 240 vert so i wouldnt be trying to steal it from you. Just want to see what it looks like and the description.

mine is a '93 with black leather interior and everything works on it. 131,000 miles when i bought it and i found it for $1800. i had to drive to the middle-of-nowhere Tennessee to get it though.

i would agree. unless its flawless, $3500 seems a little high. i would shoot for around $2500-3000 from what it sounds like. just my thoughts though.

If the car has been well-maintained, has records, and zero mechanical issues, that's an ok price. Otherwise, you can probably find one for a bit less (probably not right away, though).

Typical price range with that kind of mileage is $2k for a car with some issues to $4k for a well-maintained, super-clean car.

thanks for all your input guys. i think it is probably just an okay deal. i think i'll pass on it. i need to be putting my money into coilovers and an rb25det for my s14 anyway. let's call it a done thread.
