OK, my power windows aren't working, and I've tried all kinds of things. I downloaded the FSM, but it's for 1992. No big deal, right? Well, I tried to find the power window amplifier, and I can't find it. It's not on my car where it is in the pictures!

Is the 93 that different from the 92? I'm desperately trying to figure this thing out before taking the car to my mechanic. PLEASE help!!

Power window amp for the vert is hooked up to the wiring rat's nest behind the rear seat (top half). It's wrapped up in tape.

I have a spare amp that I can sell to you cheap if you find that yours is shot.

Thanks ishka...

Do I need to remove the seat back, or can it be accessed through the trunk? Do you know where the breaker is? FSM ays it's next to the fuse block in driver's side kick panel, but, again, I can't find it.

What do you think the issue is, and do you happen to know (in layman's terms) he actual chain of power (and where the breaks are), starting with the battery?

I don't know a whole lot about electronics, sorry.

You need to remove the rear seat top half to properly get at the amp.

As for what I think the issue is... you need to describe your problem more completely. Are all of the windows not working? Are any clicking noises coming from any of the relays or motors? etc.

Thanks. I'll take a look tomorrow night. My plan is to check power before and after the amp. I'm just trying to find the break in my chain.

There is a clicking sound under the dash, about every eight seconds or so, but I can't find exactly where it's coming from. And, yes, none of my windows are working, which makes me think that it's one component that's failing.
