I'm looking at either rebuilding or replacing the engine in my 93 convertible. With my only other vehicle killing me on gas (67 mustang) i want to get the vert back on the road ASAP.

I'm ok with a used engine for the time being, but what years do i look for? I may have found a good ka24de out of a 95, but will it swap into my 93?

Any info will help.

I'm trying to keep this simple and cheap, so i guess any KA would be the way to go, huh.

he is exactly right. just take your pic. I'd personally recommend ca18 because of it's potential, and it isn't as common, But, you are wanting cheap, so just use ka24de. Easy, cheap, simple.
