Ive heard alot about the 93 TT 300zx being the fastest of the 90-96 years of the Z32. Is this true? and if so why?

Stock performance numbers vary from magazine to magazine. In reality a 1990 2 seater shoudl be the fastest as it is the lightest with the same powerplant as all other years.

Why is the 90' the lightest?

Hey "head start" you can put that pick in your sig.. instead of attaching it everytime. Go to the "profile" button above then click on signature, then add that pic.

The curb weight they listed it as was lighter..probably a bunch of crap they added to fix issues with the first years..like the terrible brake calipers and some other things. All of that adds weight.

Actually the smaller brakes were only on the late 89-early 90 production non-turbos.

We know this, thanks for missing the point. I was answering this:

It says nothing of TT or NA..nice try.

If you want a "faster" TT you buy a slick top and gut it. End of story. They were about 3100-3200lbs (we've heard several claims, some were on scales at the track though which is good enough for me) loaded & soaking wet and far more rigid.

I love the look of the slick top and the fact that it is lighter, but the T-tops sure are nice to have.

My personal fav z32 would be a 2+2 5-speed w/ a TT swap.

Yep. I have 2 other cars I'm building and don't really have room to use all 3. I keep the Z at the shop right now, but am dumping it for 13K so I can build one of these up a little faster than usual. If you know anyone looking for something like this..hit me up.

Segamihara prefecture, but sometimes Yakota. Depends on who I visit with..sometimes Kansai in Osaka or even Fukuoka. My wife went to college near Kobe, but I used to live in Atsugi.

Ok, you don't live over here, you just come over here on vacation basically. Segamihara prefecture....where the heck is that prefecture, I know a segamihara-shi (city), near NAS Atsugi.

Anyway, you should bring your Z over here and try to sell it. Take it over to the MCR (Matchless Crowd Racing) shop that is about a 5 minute drive from my place. Heh, maybe even Yashio Factory. I'm sure one of those two places would snatch that car up for you asking price in no time.

MCR, don't they have a pretty sick R34 GT-r racecar? Seen it in the Hot Version videos a couple times.

Yeh I liked it up until the point where it, and Tsuchiya, got their a** handed to them by Orido in an Amemiya Seven.

Haha sorry, it's actually Kanagawa prefecture. Both Sagamihara and Atsugi are in it. My "vacations" are sometimes over a month long, but it's mostly for work filming. I haven't been for a little while though now since one of my business partners is fighting cancer. Central 20 or Tokyo Auto would be a better place suited for an easy sell over there or maybe even Mission which is near Nikko Circuit in Tochigi. Since those places specialize in Z32's, but I'm not in the mood to ship it to Japan unless the price is worth it from a buyer ready to purchase (unless they pay all the duties and shipping).
