93 sentra se-r

My buddy has a 93 SEr. It's got the engine work done to it...not sure exactally what he did, but I know he bought a kit for the high performance engine rebuild. He's got some really sticky tires on it. (it's a real sleeper cause it's completly stock looking...I love driving it..)

What we are looking for next is a brake upgrade for a resonable price. I heard that you can use the brakes off a NX2000.

What else needs to be done to accomodate the brakes? Larger rims?

Where can we look for them (ebay??) and what is a fair price to pay for them? Is there any other option that would be close in cost and give us better stopping power?

as far as buying them.... i would stay away from ebay. I'd careless if i bought some chinese fake performance part for $30, but brakes are a different story. Thats safety.

Ive never heard of this conversion before, but it seems pretty straight forward. I assume you just need the NX calipers and rotors.

I noticed youre in Altanta and thought I'd mention that NOPI (located in Forest Park) has great prices on Brembo blank discs. The NX2000 discs sell for ~$22 apiece. As for the calipers, many 240sx guys say you can buy remanufactured ones from AutoZone and just return your stock calipers as core.

Your chance is better at the junk yard...... You'll ne the rotors, caliper backet and the cailper itself... the caliper just have some print that says ADV22.... These are the Nismo kit that they use on the NX.. BUt they just didnt print Nismo on it... It brakes way better that the stock se-r.. have some on my car rite now....
