I have this sensor on the front of my car I can't determine what it is or where it is supposed to connect. I'm repairing the A/C system that was previously hacked apart, the wire to this is cut and I'm trying to determine if it's part of the A/C. It's on the center vertical bracket on the radiator support below where the hood release is. Only thing I can guess is maybe it is some sort of temperature switch for the condenser fan. I looked at several schematics on the Courtesy site and couldn't find it shown.

It is the ambient temperature sensor for the A/C.http://www.courtesyparts.com/27760-sens ... 67037.html

Thanks! That does indeed sound important to the A/C!
