i just started taking the motor apart but didnt get inside yet..i didnt see this added on the diy guides..it may be a dumb questiion but does a hole have to be cutout in the console for the manual boot and shifter..im guessing it does but how would you get it straight so you have enough clearence and all that..any help is appreciated.

No cutting required. AT and MT use the same hole and mounting points

ONLY thing you have to cut a hole for is the clutch master cylinder.
