Hey Guys,
I have a 93 Quest, and the front end is knocking around pretty bad. The struts were original and had 127K on them, they were really shot, so I replaced them. This made it slightly better, but not much.
There is still a very noticable clunking, and even a creaking/scraping noise on bigger bumps and dips.
I figure sinse the previous owner drove around with the bad struts for so long, that the rest of the suspension took a beating. I can only assume the bushings in the control arms and stabilizer are shot, but would this give me a clunking and creaking noise?
I have seen this problem posted before for Quests on other forums, but never any answers. Is this common on early Quests?
Thanks for any help.
