93 Q45 only 99K, won't accelerate, I mean it feels like when you push the accelerator, it is starving for gas. You can accelerate very slowly if you feather (depress less than ten percent, any harder and you get chugging) the gas pedal. I have tried the following, different TPS, different MAF. The Fuel pump does hum when the key is turned initially, but does not hum any other time. How can I check that the Fuel pump module is working in all three positions? Anyone had trouble with clogged catalytic convertors? Just guessing.... Previous owner did change Waterpump, but everything looks like new under the hood. I can't find any vacuum leaks. This has progressively gotten worse during the drive home after buying this Q. I am frustrated, and prefer not to tow this to a dealer, based on the other posts here. Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? Don't really want to just throw parts at it.

Welcome to the board. This might be better posted in the Infiniti Mechanic Forum. There you will find information on the voltages of the three stages.

Do you have a FSM? Do you have the TSB? Have you changed your fuel filter?

Fuel pressure is always measured after the filter.

Also, ECU shows Code 55, everything OK. Yes I have a FSM, but not any TSB. I don't know when the fuel filter was last changed.

Then it is time to change it before starting the car again. Common OEM only, please. One unfortunate member had tar coming out of his.

The FPCU can be assumed good unless a pump has failed on it...

DId you already email me about this??? Or am I thinking about someone else?

Replaced fuel filter today, runs a lot better, not perfect but drivable. Thanks for all of your help. The old fuel filter looked new. Wes do you still offer a discount on NGK's?
