I know you've been asked this way to often probably, but I'm just lookingfor a DIY on replacing spark plugs on a 93 Q45.

I'v been searching, found a lot of good info, but I'm new to the site

Could someone please tell me where to find a good step by step on replacing the plugs.

Also are NGK PFR5G-11 the ones I need to use.

Thanks

Everything you need to know about changing plugs on your Q can be found by clicking the link below.

While you're there check out the rest of the Q45.org site, especially the Tech Help section. Tons of great info for the DIY'er. Good Luck.

If you've lined them up left side / right side it looks like you've allso got a leaking valve cover gasket.

All the plugs look to be pretty sooty (fouled?) on the tips so it looks like you're running very rich. What kind of gas mileage were you getting before the plug change? Compare that to your first tank with the new plugs. If you mpg isn't up in the 14-16 range you have other engine tuning issues. Good luck.
