93 nonturbo fuel leak, help please!

i have a 1993 nissan 300zx na, it has a fuel leak. but heres the only way i found out about it.

i was pulling into a parking lot, i turned right going about 10 mph. then gas looked like it just sloshed out of the tank on the driver side. but it wont do it when i turn to the left. ALSO, i can smell fuel when i sit in the car, and if the gas tank is below 3/4 full, it has a misfire. could someone please help explain? is there a seal or gasket around the tank i need to fix? thanks for any help/adivce!

When you turn right, the fuel in the tank is going to the driver side where the filler tube is. The seal where it meets up with the tank is probably going bad so it leaks out when the gas tank is up to that level.
