93 Maxima vg30e Auto wont start

My 93 Maxima VG30E auto trans wont start. The engine wont turn over. I turn the key and nothing all you can hear is the fuel pump and it sounds like a switch turns on and off if u keep turning the key back and forth but thats it. All the lights work, battery is great.
My car has done this same thing before but I put a new starter in and it starts for a few weeks and this happens again. But this time just put in a new starter again and its not starting this time. PLease help I dont know why it wont turn over and start.

It could still be the battery. Even though the lights are on, if the battery is not good it could cause the car to not start.

That or bad luck and starter is fried.

Same thing happend to my 94, I thought it was the starter too... Mines turned out to be the auto theft system & relay... My mechanic did something to bypass the auto theft and after that it started right up. Try taking the fuse out for the auto theft and try again. Hope this helps.
