Ok, ac is blowing hot air. I am supposing it needs an A/C recharge. I'm trying to check the AC unit under the hood, but it doesn't have the "bubble window" that newer units have. How can I check the refrigerant level of for the VG30E?

Also what kind of refrigerant does it use R-12 or R-134?

Please let me know....Thanks in advance...

R12 cannot be used anymore so you will have to go through an upgrade for R134a unless you do it yourself and happen to find some reasonably priced R12. I have found out, that in most cases where the air is no longer blowing cold, that the problem is with the compressor which will require a coolant change anyway.
