93 ka24de wont run right

ka24de car barely starts and when it does it idles very rough and seems like it doesnt want to run. if i give it any gas at all it sputters and falls on its face. doesnt die but acts like it doesnt want to run. when i turn the key on i hear the fuel pump prime but it sounds like it sputters and then kind of dies out. i also think that there may be something wrong in the cooling area because the car takes a very long time for the gauge to read at normal operating temps and the needle on the temp gauge bounces constantly while driving.

forgot to mention. car starts up everytime. new cap, rotor, dizzy, plugs, wires, ecu, and its perfectly in time. started doing this on a rainy day. need something guys. any ideas?

start by checking the ecu for codes, even if the engine light isnt on. but i would definitely think about replacing an erratic sounding stock fuel pump. no fuel = no go! as far as the cooling system is concerned get a pressure tester from the parts store and pressure test your cooling system, you may have a bad HG or maybe a bad sensor but you wont know until you test it.
