the reason im wondering this, is that greddy does not make the turbo kit for the 93, i love the body style, but i love aftermarket support more, will the kit work on the 93 or will i have to get a newer engine/car. whats the cheapest or easiest route. and what is the major differences between the engines?

i dont think the kit will work on <96, due to obII that the 96-98's have. you could peice together a nicer kit than greddy for alot cheaper than greddy also. check out the ka-t forums, they have just about every answer to every question youll ever have about boostin a ka

Many of the hard parts from the Greddy Kit should fit the S13. Some may need some modification to work though. And the downpipe will definitely need extending. The E-Manage can be adapted to work on the S13, but it's not a supported application and will not have some of the functionality but should be sufficient enough to tune it on an S13. The preprogrammed mapping will not match so you will need to tune it from scratch.

If Greddy gets CARB Certification, then using this kit on a 93 will not be legal. You would have to swap in an S14 KA(96-98) and thenget it approved by a BAR ref, then the kit could be legal. This is probably only impotant in CA though.
