Everytime I brake, my KA engine dies? Any ideas?

I thought it might be but my lack experience with the car had me guessing.

start sniffing around the intake hoses after you replace the normal vac lines and go around the metal to metal parts with some carb cleaner while the engine is on. If the carb cleaner gets sucked in, then you've found a leak.
