I replaced the trans 2 times and I'm geting the same results. I was told that it can be the transmission cpu. where can I find that and do you no what it looks like?

try the driver's kickpanel, at least that where it is on the Q's. might help you get response if you elaborate on 'the same results'.....

The car drives however when your in first the rpm goes up to 4-5 before it shifts but once out of first gear, its fine you kind of have to drive it like a stick and ease of the gas to trick it to shift but its been like that since I brought it about 2 years ago with all thre trans I put in. I replace the engine once as well it has a 95 ingine with a 97 trans could that be the problem.. but I put in a 93,94 and 97 trans and I think its all the same... Its just been bad news since I brought it. something draining the brand new batt after two days. took it to the dealer and they couldn't find out the problem...

Definately sound like it could be the TCU. Could also be the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) or any number of things. I don't know enough about the differences between the 93 and 95 engine... did all of the connectors match up or were the sensors different?

Yeah everything matched up just right.. I'll have to check on the TPS I just got a TCU and I'm going to try it out to see if it works..

Thanks...

How to interprit the codes:

There are going to be a series of flashes..... The flash that is the longest is the code that you are concerned with...

For instance code 5 would look like this -- -- -- -- ---------- -- -- -- being that the 5th flash is the longest.. the light wil blink a total of 12 times.

Code readouts1. Revolution sensor2. Vehicle speed sensor3. Throttle position sensor4. Shift solenoid A5. Shift solenoid B6. Overrun clutch solenoid7. Torque converter clutch solenoid8. Fluid temp sensor or AT control unit powersource malfuntion9. Engine speed signal10. Turbine revolution sensor11. Line pressure solenoid12. Engine control circuit

let us know what you come up wiht and we cna go from there!!
