93 j30 transmission issues maybe?

my car seems like it is struggling to drive at 40mph. after it gets 45 its fine it also is making this ticking noise exactly like the turn signal even when the turn signal isnt on seems like its in the dashboard looked and looked all over can't find

I dont think its trans related, try downshifting and see if that helps... in 2nd or 3rd gear aorund 40mph, the V6 wont put out much torque to move that heavy car.
