93 J30 Tach Signal Location

Does any one know where I can get a strong tach signal for installing a remote starter?

I have the manual but cannot locate a tach signal near the steering column. It starts the engine but overcranks because there is no tach signal.Thanks

I had to go directly to the back of the instrument cluster to find it... Do you have the FSM? Some of the clusters are even labeled so it might be marked beside the pins.
