ok, my 93 j30 has 159,000 miles on it and has been kept up very well, i went to the dealership about 1 month ago and got a timing belt, water pump, tentioner, cam seals, etc... anyway around 2 weeks ago my jim wolf ecu went bad according to the dealership, a mechanic there had an ecu and sold it to me, it was alot cheaper than a new one. anyway a few days ago i had this problem only for about 10 seconds then today after i was diving around for about 30 minutes i turned it back on and when i took off it wouldnt rev past around 2k rpm's. it would sputter and spit and start bouncing from 2800 to 2300 rpms like it was hitting rev limit, i started it back up and drove it around the block and it was fine. if anyone can help me with this id be very grateful, thanks.

im pretty well versed in general mechanics, but mainly on dsm's this j30 is new to me and ive taken it to the dealer for the most part. it has a new fuel filter and air filter, i always use premium fuel and have used the lucas fuel additive a few times, only run it out of gas once about 6 months ago, i put the synthetic lucas in with the oil(mobil 1) one month ago. i think it has to be something with the maf sensor or the ecu i just got, because it only happens when it gets up to operating temp. and its not a dead cylinder bacause it wont rev any higher at all its like its hitting rev limit or something.
