I've been having trouble with the drivers door. It started with locking itself every time you close the door. It progressed to locking itself and then not being able to be opened. I finally got the door to unlock and open but now it's back to locking itself when closed. HELP!

Damn, the dude wrote an essay about it. Unprecedented. Also, I like the "fuzzycats" link.

Yoda,
Thanks for the info. I have a very slow internet connection...only dial up here in my area. Do you know the part numbers for the timer and the door latch needed?
Thanks again!

Not sure of the part numbers.
You probably don't need the latch if the door locks/unlocks as it should with the button on the door.
The timer is what causes the locks to unlock or lock on their own all ghost like !

I've tried to find the part on the web... called two shops listed and they have no idea what a door lock timer is. And these are Infiniti parts dealers. They are also probably 18 and don't live in Houston. Not rocket scientist!
