Haven't been able to find much on removing the crank sprocket.

Everything else is off and I want to replace the front main oil seal while I'm in there.

There isn't enough clearance to get a traditional 3 arm puller between the sprocket and the oil pump housing.

Any tips or experience out there?

Thanks, Matt

Sorry to say this, but from what I've read, the most common method of removing it when it's stuck is to cut it off with a grinder. Did the job once, but luckily for us it slid right off. There's a how-to posted somewhere on the web for the 300zx, which is probably identical to your vehicle. It had a really nice tip on using a piece of rolled vellum as a shop aid for seating the seal properly without it falling off. Very frustrating without it. Worth the search. If you can't find the link email me and I'll look for it tonight after work.
