93 Infiniti J30- Engine knock

I have a 93 infiniti J30 that used to have trouble revving up pas 2500 rpms, I fixed that, however (it was the pigtail for the MAF) and the next day the engine started knocking. Is there any way to fix that. Its a lower end knock, so can I just take out the rod bearings and replace them??

The factory service manual would tell you what you're in for as far as replacing them... but if I recall correctly you have a really slow internet connection and can't open the .pdfs?

I think I would think more in terms of a full engine swap.
