question about the SR20. I know the infiniti G20 came with the SR20DE motor. I have a spare transmission and motor I was wondering how hard and what i needed to do to put that in a 240SX shell and possibly turbo it?? I know i need a 240 transmission but will it fit to this motor?? any info will help. Im still new with the nissans

the bell housing are different i believe, also if you come across a 2.0 sentra, altima or a 200sx those also have SR engines

true, but since the sentra and altimas were FWD, i don't think the motor mounting points would be the same. were the 200sx fwd or rwd?

Nope Cant work without a shyt ton of Time, Fabrication and $$$$$.

Yes, you can turbo it, but still high compression, may not have oil squiters etc...

Just but a S13 front clip, you'll have everything you need plus a Front end and you can sell the other parts.

Sorry, Not gonna happen, aside from the obvious FRW to RWD configurations. Theirs numerous differences between the FWD SR20 to the RWD SR20DET, including distributor to coil ignitions, the intake is reversed, the motor mounts are not interchangeable, ECM wiring issues, not to mention internal engine differences such as no oil squirters, and a higher compression ratio, and a host of smaller expensive problems. Sorry to say this has been covered before. Cheapest route is to go with a RWD SR20DET swap.
