I hope I can buy or i mean find one. Thanks for the help and I'll be sure to do that.I was suppose to sell my car but I'm done begging for a legit price or trade I'm just keeping it thanks.jimbyjimb wrote:Get hold of a junkyard. I'd say if you buy a hood buy hinges with it since the hinges on the G50 hood are weak-sauce, good to have spares in case. I would also say that in the meantime you should get some cheetah grease or pb blaster to lube the hinges with. Lube the hinges on your new hood regularly and the bending of the hood shouldn't happen as long as you're careful. Push back rather when closing the hood rather than pulling down. I paid $300 for hood and hinges.
Ok thanks but you think i should just wait and buy a new hood instead?I finally got a new battery so i don;t need to jump start the care anymore. The hood shall saty closed for awhile.Any suggestions?maxnix wrote:White Lithium Grease
Thats true but i meant, before my new battery i had to jump start my car EVERYDAY and now I don't.Plus my alarm would go off because of the battery dien,I'm guessing the car trips out with a low battery and it made it go off.Anyways yeah i'll be sure to look at the junk yard. I'll be saving for an alternator even though it was replaced before i bought the car lol.I think the recipet said feburary.maxnix wrote:Definitely keep trolling for a good used hood. You will have to open it to monitor the engine.
Or possibly the under hood pin switch isn't getting enough pressure due to the bent hood. It's in roughly the same area as the bend in the hood...unknown007 wrote:Plus my alarm would go off because of the battery dien,I'm guessing the car trips out with a low battery and it made it go off.
