93 G20 idle problem

My car runs great like 90% of the time, but every once in a while it will start idleing funny. I will try to start it, it will fire up, and then drop straight to 0 rpm and die. i have to give it gas to keep it alive, then when i'm driving, if i stop at a light or stop sign, it will drop to 0. This usually only lasts a little while then it will drive fine again. It happens wether the car is hot or cold, as it will sometimes start happening while i've already been on the road for a while.

Maf sensor possibly or Throttle Position Sensor.

Try a new fuel filter first, and look for a vacuum leak. Classic symptoms for vac. leak.

A vacuum leak where? Are there any spots to check that are more prone to come loose?
