I hate to do it, but the sweet 240 convertible that got me through college needs to be sold. The auto trans just started slipping. I wish I could put a 5spd in it and keep it, but I need a 4wd. If I dont get enough out of it, I will keep it. NICO member tenkawa_akito has drafted a great "how-to" on the S13 manual trans swap, it's linked in his signature.

in short.. around $1000 or less.

There is a small trick to wiring the convertible in the swap. You have to trick the convertible into thinking the car is in park. Since their's no "park" in a 5 speed, you have to trick it... otherwise the top won't work.

Anyhow.. hope this helps. I hope you decide to keep it... if not.. i hope you at least sell it to a NICO member. These cars are hard enough to find.. let's keep all we can in the NICO family!!
