ok, i just installed a rear upper strut tower bar and the lower control arm brace. now when the right rear wheel hits potholes or manhole covers - the rear end wants to jump to the right. straight line is fine though. thoughts?

no because my tires arent worth getting an alignment on... i ordered a new rim to replace a bent one i have and when it gets here, im going to get new tires and align it then. sounds like a bad alignment though doesnt it? when i get the new tires, ill have it 4 wheel aligned instead of 2.

well alignment issues dont just equaly tire wear they change the handling charicteristics of the car as well, If it was fine before and the parts you put on are fine then it would most likely be the nessisary adjustments(alignment) that you didnt make.

yeah i know that, the thing is that its generally not good to get an alignment on bad tires. theres too much difference between new and old tires. i think what happened is that when my brother removed the nuts that hold the control arm brace on, he knocked the toe or maybe the camber adjustment out just a little. ill go under there in a bit and see if i can tell what it was he did.
