93 auto transmission problem

1993 ka24de with automatic. old transmission died, put in a new one. It ran about 10,000 miles and now it's gone. If you put it in drive and rev it up to around 5000 it will creep about five feet and stop. Same happens in reverse and other gear positions etc etc. Any inisght would be helpful. If no fix available, going to manual swap in near future. Thanks
