I have a 93 GXE with very low mileage (don't travel much). Lately, when I start the car, it runs fine until I stop. After 10 minutes of sitting and the engine is hot, it won't start. The engine has to cool down before it will start again. It leaves me stranded in parking lots. Spark plugs and fuel filter were replaced. Now signs are pointing to the power transistor. Any thoughts on what the problem could be? Any assistance is happily accepted.

it's distributor. *** waiting for 10 page of 'what he said' replies***I am just tired of retyping the same thing all over again. there is O ring inside distributor. because of poor design this O ring leaks a lot because there is a lot of heat and oil pressure on it. it gets hot and gets hard==> does not seal very well. so when your engine is hot, oil goes up to the cylinder head and goes through the O ring into the distributor photo censor. and your spark plugs don't fire. that's why you stall.

take off the distributor cap, rotor and see if there is oil there if yes it's distributor.
