Does anyone know of anywhere to get urethane motor mounts for our 1st Gen Alitmas? I know some companies are selling inserts, but that makes me think of putting duct tape over bullet holes. Also, there are all of these DIY kits floating around that come with a tube of caulk. Now don't get me wrong, caulk is great for is intended application, but for keeping my engine from ripping itself free and taking flight, I'd like something a little more proven.Anyway, just wanted to poke at the fire, so have at it!

Place Racing makes poly mounts for Sentras but from what I have read they fit the U13s as well.

Im actually planing on making a poly mount this weekend for my altima. I have replaced my rear crossmember mount about 5 times and thats annoying. after you do a burnout you can pretty much kiss that mount good bye. Take a stock mount and fill the "windows" with 3M WINDOW WELD you can get this a advance auto parts for $15. it comes in a caulk tube but it is not caulk it's polyurethane. Ill post pics when it's done.

I have seen it done a long time ago, can't remember who or with what though. They filled a stock mount though.

Sorry that I am so late on this one. I had the same idea about the motor mounts but I was unsure about what type of material to use. As far as purchasing some goes Whiteline should have them. They may be listed under Bluebird parts (I don't really remember). I think their site is globalperformanceparts.com (totally different I know. That's why people have trouble finding it.
