Can I put a '94 J30 engine into my '93 J30 without any problems?

Probably. There was very little change from year to year in the J30. What happened to the original motor?

I dont know if you remember my posts about my problems, but i finally figured out what it was. The fuel filter was so dirty and clogged that it caused the fuel pump to fail intermitently. I changed the filter and a new pump and filled up with 93 octane and 2 bottles of injector cleaner. about 1 hour later i was on the side of the highway broken down. The timing belt center pulley was bent upwards and the belt slipped off. I was doing about 90-100mph when it happened. I already found another motor but its out of a '94.

I'm sorry to hear about your engine. That's no good. :(

On http://www.everythingnissan.com, Joe shows two different prices for the 93 and 94 engines. I would call him to get more information on the differences. 1-888-216-5328
