Get as much of the fuel as you can out of the tank then soak up the remaining traces of fuel with a couple old car wash sponges. discard them when your done. Let the tank dry out for a day. then use a vaccum cleaner with long attachment to suck up the setiment. Do not suck up fuel, make sure the tank is dry before you use the vaccum cleaner in it. Be carfuel with the edge of the tank when doing this its very sharp, I usually use a vaccum hose split down it length to place over the lip of the tank when working in it.
