I WAS TRYING TO REPLACE MY TINING BELT on my 300 zx its a 93 non turbo autopmatic
ive tore it down twice this is the third time an i was sure it was right but now my motor locks up at one spot an i cant gwet it over. the crank stops at one spot could i have dropped a valve or smething.someone please gtive me some help

It sounds like the timing is not set correctly. Are you counting teeth on the belt and not using the "marks" on the cover? The marks really dont line it up correctly, they are mainly there for reference.

A valve is contacting a piston, do not rotate it further. You need to set cylinder 1 to TDC, then use the marks on the gears themselves and line them up with the marks on the belt.
