Just picked up my 1rst z32, 93 n/a 5speed. Having some issues hoping someone can throw out solutions or ideas.
When cruising below 2k rpm, usually in 4th or 5th, or when you let off the gas to cruise, when re-applyng the gas to go it is completely unresponsive, you have to come of the gas and back on a time or three to get it to work again. If it low rpms happens quite often. NOTE: if above 3500 no issues at all, runs strong as hell.

Also, smaller problem vibrations from under the center console between the seats, thinking heat shield bolts or such.

Will probably find more problems as i continue to drive as i just got it last night. Any help appreciated. Thanks guys

Could be a dirty MAF or a poorly calibrated TPS. For the MAF, its under the nose panel, take it off and clean with electrical contact cleaner, or even better, MAF cleaner. For the TPS, loosen the 2 mounting screws and adjust so that its at .45V at WOT. The TPS could also be bad. That's just a start, it could be other issues.

As for the rattle, you'll need to get up underneath and have a look. There is a heat shield in the very center, so its possible the bolts are rusted to hell and now it vibrates. You'll just have to check

Checked the TPS, looks pretty corroded. Will updated as I learn more. Thanks for the input

Cleaned the TPS with some electrical cleaner, ran in at 2k rpms in 5th, no problems. Seems to be fixed. As per the vibrations, seems to be the rear driverside wheel bearing. Wooho. lol

Awesome!! And for the rear wheel bearings its sometimes cheaper to buy a whole new hub. Some shops won't attempt to change the bearings, no idea why. Others have done it themselves with a press. I think I saw a new Timken bearing on ebay for ~$50 but you'll have to look around.

Just had a look on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-90 ... 79&vxp=mtr

That's $49.95 + shipping for a new Nissan left rear hub

Update 1. Still getting the bogging : /, maybe i'll try completely replacing the tps? Maf looked good.

2. As far as the hub goes, i literally bought that same part. I assumed if i just bought the bearing i'd have to get it pressed in, so i bought the whole piece same as listed in ebay post. It looks like that somehow has to be pressed. I have no idea how to get that onto the actual hub. Little new to this kind of work so maybe i'm missing something pretty obvious.
