The past week or so ive noticed that when im coming to a slow stop, theres some kind of scraping noise in the left rear. Its getting worse and when i look up under there im not seeing anything that stands out as wrong... but im still new to cars and leaning. Just wondering if anybody might have an idea befor i had to take it in. thanks

Could be the warning scrapers on the brake pads. I'd check it out and see what's up, could be time for new brakes out back.

Yea after reading that i tried letting off the breaks when i was hearing the noise, and it went away! So i was like ok got the problem nailed, well then i was rolling with my windows down and going about 15 mph and i heard some scarping nice, thought it wasnt a constant like if i had the breaks pushed in. Like everytime the wheel rotated. Anyideas? the rotor?

I had that same problem when I would brake. I would also hear that noise and when I was driving I could hear it but it would skip. Changed rear brake pads and put some lube on the back of the brake pads and problem solved.
