93 240sx timeing with unorthodox racing u/d pully and crane hi6

i followed the timeing setup in the fsm and unpluged the tps but i am a long way off from the timeing marks. the marks are far to the left of the timing peg if looking from the front of motor. the car runs fine and no det but i would like to make sure the timeing is set right. i turned the dizy all the way clockwise and it drives fine like that. thanks for your help guys.
