My car seems alot slower then it should be. i have set the timeing at 16 tdc and also checked the ecu for any codes and it read 55 which is good. im at a lost at what it could be.

thats about all i can think off i have been messing with it for the past month and am getting very tired of it. what would you reccomend to help me find my problem.

Maybe the motor just needs a good tune-up like new spark plugs, possibly new plug wires, new distributor cap/rotor, new fuel filter, new air filter.

You might also perform a compression test on all cylinders.

any other symptoms aside from "seems slower than it should be"

that's vague. It make any sounds, having idle problems, vac problems, etc.

it bogs down like its getting now power and when i hit boost it starts to acclerate but not that hard. so im think the cas is a tooth off and im going to reset that and see if it fixes it because im pretty sure its somthing with timeing because when i advance it to like 24 it runs fine but when i go to 15 or 16 it runs like crap.
