Ok so I swapped my spark plugs on my KA yesterday and when I pulled the last one out near the firewall there was oil all over it and the socket compared to the other ones which were completely clean. Any ideas what this could be?

Well to start, this definitely doesnt belong in interiors. It should have gone in tech. Secondly, a plug being covered in oil would more than likely mean you blew the piston ring in that cylinder. Do a compression test on it and see what numbers you come up with.

Actually, if the socket also gets covered in oil, it sounds like a leaking valve cover gaskets (the inner one). Get a new set of valve cover gaskets and install them with some RTV. Should fix it, IF the oil is on TOP of the plug.

The oil was actually on top of and on the plug when I pulled it out. Like the plug was covered in it.

Yes. So, did replacing the gasket with RTV resolve it?
